When a paper is published in this index among the given journals and only then the course is considered to be completed by that college or institution.

Web of Science includes several search terms, field notations, and the Boolean, your query is easily replicable and editable. This is the Advanced Searching control, that results in stronger searches. Advanced Search features in Web of Science are

search term in the query must be identified. In basic search, all fields are searched, In Advanced Search, you will need to specify field tags

  • To search on the name AND, OR, NOT, NEAR and SAME, enclose the name in quotation marks Example “OR”
  • Extra spaces around opening & closing parenthesis () & equal=sign is ignored
  • Use SAVE in Address searches, in Topics searchers AND works exactly like SAME

Emerging Sources Citation Index was launched in 2015. Over 7,800 titles are added. This provides deeper regional or specialty area coverage. More than 3 million records and 74.4 million cited references date back from 2005 to the present.
